Digital Projection Devices

Post  admin on Fri 23 Jul 2010, 2:51 am

Digital projection devices, or video projectors, are expensive but can produce very bright and clear high-resolution images in broad daylight. Digital projection devices are made to take a video signal and project the corresponding image onto a screen. They are widely used in conferences, classrooms, home theatre and live events.

The video projector is similar to a film or slide projector in that they both accept a source, and project the image from that source onto a screen. However, a video projector has processing circuitry that converts an analogue or digital video input signal into something that can be projected onto a screen. Common digital projection devices use CRT (cathode ray tube), LCD (liquid crystal display) or DLP (digital light processing)
